Transfer Voltage Fine Adjustment in Konica Minolta

Transfer Voltage Fine Adjustment in Konica Minolta To improve print quality on Konica Minolta devices

Adjusting the Transfer Voltage is an effective method. This adjustment can be divided into two main sections: Increasing Toner Density on Transfer: This option increases the toner concentration during the transfer process. Increasing Paper Voltage: This enhances the paper's ability to attract more toner. How to Use the Transfer Voltage Fine Adjustment Access Service Mode: Enter the service mode on your device. Go to Image Process Adjustment and select Transfer Voltage Fine Adjustment. In this section, you can adjust the toner density for a single color, multiple colors, or all colors. The adjustment range is from +7 (maximum) to -8 (minimum). If you want to increase the density (make the print darker), adjust towards the positive side.

If you want to decrease the density (make the print lighter), adjust towards the negative side. Paper Types and Voltage Adjustment On the left side of the menu, you will find options for different types of paper. For example, if you apply changes to normal paper, those changes will only affect normal paper and not other media types. Other available media include 120g, 250g, 320g paper, and transparent film. You can also use the positive/negative slider to adjust the voltage for toner attraction on the paper.

This feature is particularly useful when using non-genuine toner. Adjust according to your needs and make sure to stabilize the settings; if you do not run the Stabilizer, the changes will not take effect. Resetting to Factory Default On the right side, there is a Restore option. If you have made changes that have negatively impacted print quality, selecting Restore will revert the settings to the factory default.
