Update procedure of MFP Controller Boot Program
1. Connect the USB memory stick containing the firmware (G00-N4 or later) into the USB port on the right side of the control panel.
2. Turn the main power switch ON while pressing the Stop key.
3. Touch [Machine Type Select] on Firmware Update selection.
4. Touch [(1) (7) (2) (9) (3) (8)] in the red frame below then touch [OK].
Because Software ten-key in the red frame is not displayed on bizhub C287i/C257i/C227i
and bizhub 306i/266i/246i/226i, press the hardware key in the following order.
[Start] -> [Reset] -> [Stop] -> [Stop] -> [Reset] -> [Start] then touch [OK].
5. Touch [Boot Rom]
6. Touch [Start] to update Boot Rom
7. Turn main switch OFF after Boot Rom update is completed.
8. Turn the main power switch ON while pressing the Stop key to update firmware
9. After updating firmware turn the main power switch OFF and ON, then go to Service mode and check the
MFP Controller Boot Program version.
